My wife and I recently finished reading (and now listening on audio!) to the ‘Awakening of Desire’ series. My wife was fangirling so hard over Olivia, so when I came across the character letters I thought it would be fun to order a set of three for her. I wanted her to be able to respond and have a little fun with the dialogue. A cute gift to sit on our bookcase alongside the series.
I had a few ideas in terms of what to include in the letter request, some friendly advice that I thought might help her see things a little clearer. That being said, I massively underestimated just how personal this letter correspondence would be for her. All fun aside, the content of the letter is something that she’s not only read multiple times but talks about frequently. It’s something that will stick with her and when I tell you that Olivia got it spot on, I truly mean it!
It’s such a unique experience and a lot of fun! But beyond that, it also turned out to be something incredibly insightful and special. 💗
My wife surprised me with the 3 letter bundle from my favourite character Olivia, in ‘Awakening of Desire’ series.
I expected it to be a bit of fun and it truly is, but I was absolutely shocked at just how personal and brilliant the first letter was! It might be a fictitious character writing to me, but it’s one who understands exactly what I needed to hear. There’s something incredibly affirming and healing about these letters, and that just blows my mind!
The presentation is so beautiful and the stationary is gorgeous. Given how many times I’ve already read the letter, I was worried that the stationary would be flimsy and not last too long but I was so wrong! It’s thick, luxurious and feels expensive - it will definitely last.
I’m now working on my return correspondence and can’t wait to see what letter 2 brings! It really is such a unique and fun experience!
I really can't explain how this made me feel. For such little information provided the letter was like it had been written by someone who had known me for years. Just beautiful, touching and hit the spot in my heart that needed a hug. The presentation was so nice and as I want to keep it for years I was careful opening the envelope so I didn't ruin the beautiful wax seal. I have read it several times already and I'm sure one day it will be falling apart from all the times I will read it.
Thank you for coming up with this fantastic idea to keep your characters alive and involving your readers in something so personal.
